It just confirms your lh surge. The only way to confirm O is with temping. U can get a pos. opk and not O. U can also get a neg. opk but temp rise which means u did O. It looks to me like, according to BBT, you O'd on the 2nd of Nov. But the OPK says the 4th.. I think. If it was the 2nd then you may not have BDed within the time frame. When I was trying for my daughter 10 years ago I went by BBT and thought it was pretty accurate. I have heard the OPKs are really accurate, too, though so I don't know.

My O is typically two days after my first +OPK.My bbt dropped this morning and Iv had ovulation pains all day, so that would predict that Iv ovulated today- as long as I have a temp rise tomorrow which I’m expecting going by last months chart. But on my clearblue opk Iv got flashing smiley no static yet. If it goes static tomorrow that will say ovulation within 24-48 hours.OPK and BBT not aligning. Wondering if anyone ever has their BBT and OPK not match up. I use clear blue digital advanced and I got the static smiley on Saturday 4/1. But my BBT didn’t rise until Saturday 4/8, so fertility friend has ovulation day being Friday 4/7. I had ewcm that Friday to Sunday 4/7-4/9.Women who ovulate and check their basal body temperature (BBT) chart will probably notice a small, but sustained rise in temperature after ovulation, especially after a few months of experience with close monitoring. A woman who is not ovulating will not have that small temperature change. Tracking BBT in addition to cervical mucus can be helpful.I was diagnosed with endometriosis and pcos. I started metformin last month, used provera to kick in my period then letrozole on cd 3-7. FF had marked cd 10 as my ovulation but that is way too early for me. My typical cycle is more or less 45 days and I ovulate somewhere from cd 25 onwards. But my BBT have been up.Oh and by the looks of things, you don't necessarily need a BBT but I've really loved having more accurate charts. :) I got my Life Brand BBT at Shoppers Drug Mart. I change them every 3-4 months so I can rely on my temps being accurate. I don't use a new BBT until the next cycle though..
