An important thing to remember is that gunlancer scales extremely well with engravings, especially blue lancer - since your shield is basically always up (if you have specialization & time your shout right) a lot of the negatives to engravings are basically negligible. Also the skills just flow really well together. It's a lot less "assassin" than I was expecting, but it's still really fun. Seems super fun and engaging, and has a skill ceiling high enough that you can sink time into and constantly get better. I never really played dps in most MMOs since I like being invited to parties. As far as I can tell, that’s less of an issue here since there is no real holy trinity. what is in your opinion the most responsive class? i play a gunslinger, which feels pretty clunky from time to time with the weapon switching. i also play a gunlancer which i really like but is slow af. now i want to try a class which feels really responsive, fast, little downtimes, not many charging skills etc. i think you get the pictureDestroyer - Imagine putting all your eggs in one basket. Pro: great stats all around. Con: prone to missing important skills. Berserker - Auto-click simulator. Pro: best identity & 2nd best awakening. Con: long cooldowns & mana issue. Holy Knight - White bread of classes. Pro: can support while doing decent damage. Paladin is the most fun to progress. But half of lost ark player base jsut want to get bussed anyway so they don't care. There's definitely an issue with how paladins are generally perceived. If by flashy you mean visual effects, then most flashy class in soulfist, by far. DBZ inspired class after all. So try to level it up to 50, nothing is flashier in this game. If by flashy you mean fast, agile class that has to do flashy moves and outplays, that's reaper, but reaper isn't released on AGS servers yet. Artillerist isn't really that ranged. I play close/mid. Very high stagger and destruction. Need good knowledge of mechanics due to attack delays. But I've played all the classes and I have the most fun playing the Artillerist. It is slow to level up and the class doesn't get fluid till t3.IMO after trying half the classes in the game, Surge Blade is by far the most fun spec in Lost Ark. Peace maker gunslinger is the most fun for me since it gives a lot of options for different situations, and learning skill rotations for each situation is hard to master but fun to play.
